  • Increase Economic Development to create more and better jobs for Spartanburg County residents by working with our cities, local Chambers of Commerce and state leaders.
  • Build more parks for the county and improve existing park facilities.
  • Utilize my strong background in finance and business development to provide the experienced leadership necessary to move Spartanburg County forward.
  • Will work to improve our county tax system and reduce tax burden.

  • Vote Yes for Joe Mahaffey for Spartanburg County Council District 5 in the June 8th Republican Primary

If you feel that Spartanburg County is a wonderful place to live and raise a family then your not alone.  If you feel that Spartanburg County is worth preserving and enhancing for our future generations then you have a lot in common with Joe Mahaffey.  A native to this area, and a leader in the community, Joe has worked hard to enhance the community in many ways.  His leadership, practical approach to citizen concerns, and devotion to the community have enhanced Spartanburg County.  We need Joe Mahaffey to represent the citizens of Spartanburg County on the Spartanburg County Council.
